Gents,
I'm trying to remove SAT from X3, and I get this error when I try to VO code, and even FDL code certain folders. Basically, the two I'm supposed to code keep giving me the error. I can code other folders except for the ICM and EGS...See picture for detail.

By just using the Bimmercode app and Bluetooth OBD2 reader, can I change my ambient lighting setup? Do I have to go into expert mode? (F86)

If you want to change colours you have to use expert mode

hello, I am new member. I installed E-SYS 3.27.1 on my computer, which version of E-SYS launcher pro can i use and where can i find a FreeToken.est and pin. In addition to the above, I still have to install any programs on my computer before I can do Coding. thank you so much

Using the bimmercode app over Bluetooth obd2 and changing the ambient color coding in expert mode..
I go from frint control module to what...is there any walkthrough on this using the app?

Just wanted to chime in say that I got my X5 coded Saturday with damn near everything. Amazing!
Also, I have all the ambient light colors available now. It doesn't show all the colors in iDrive but I have Purple, Pink, Green, Yellow, etc.

This may be in the thread but its a lot of reading now. I've just reinstalled esys V 3.27.1 with PSDZ data 4.17.13as per the installation instructions pdf. However i will not be doing any FDL coding through esys as i have bimmercode on my phone for that. All i need to do is save my factory data and thren add 6NS and 3AG to my VO, I was just about to do this when i read at the end of the instructions NOT to open esys without going through the launcher(which i havent installed due to the token problems and the fact i wont be coding FDL's).
So my question is is it okay to use esys for saving my factory VO and SVT settings before adding 6NS and 3AG and then saving a copy of the new VO.
I will then tweak the otherbits via bimmercode.

I'm having trouble getting my reverse camera installation working, I have added the 3AG to the VO and activated all the reverse camera functions in the HU, but still no luck.
When I select reverse I get the right layout but no picture and no possibility to adjust the camera settings!

Any ideas?

No sure if this is a fix for you, but when I installed the 3AG on a F25, I had to do this:

If camera works only for one second, code the FDL value in navi module: VIDEO_WATCHDOG_REARIEW to nicht_aktiv

Might work for you as well.

Hi, Ive not got that far yet, started the install yesterday but got rained off by the great British summer weather.. all back end done just to sort the dash side out. I have read somewhere that some of the BMW retrofit kits were supplied with crossed wires in either the can or hbas lines(cant remember which) and swapping them over sorted out the issue which was similar to yours. I think it was on an X3 thread somewhere. So double check connections end to end.

So the tokenmaster gave sign of life. Now I was using Launcher premium 2.8.2.155 with rearm script, but should I switch over to the new (free) Launcher PRO 2.8.2? What is the difference or what is better? Would the PRO version still need the date fix and rearm script?

Interesting, about to delve into coding myself. And as you I was doing the date manipulation and rearming to get things working. Perhaps Launcher PRO 2.8.2 will yield a cleaner approach.

Tried to change the video_watchdog but no luck!.

Any other ideas?

When I select the camera I get the option, but when I try to adjust contrast or brightness nothing happens I have no option.

I have coded all I could find with the text camera, do I need to add or code any other cafd files?

Did you buy the genuine kit from BMW? If not have you put a 120 ohm resistor accross the can line on the camera side.
