I have my 2018 black sapphire edition X5M I picked up thanksgiving of 2017, today I hit the 15,000 miles mark. So I want to know, do you guys daily your x5m and how many miles you have on it? Or is it just a garage queen used for special occasions?

My Older M had 18000 year.
Sorry for me too sweet of a ride to sit in the garage.

You just don't know what life will throw you.

Drive and smile.
That's my 2 cents.

Sure others will have a different perspective.

My current X6M has 10000 but I plan on driving the same.

Daily driver - only put 10k or less on it per year though. My wife mainly drives the kids around in it, but I also purchased a Jeep JLUR which is getting some miles as well...more once I finally get the soft top on it

Mine is DD also, 13k on my 2017. Makes the commute so much better... until I hit traffic!

I don't think it's a bad DD car. I get more annoyed when I CAN'T open it up during the commute. 15 miles each way for my commute.

I DD it but it shares seat time with my P-car so it gets the majority of the bad weather. Great DD.

It's just an SUV, so I highly doubt anyone would have one for it to be a garage queen.

Looking for one and planning on it as my DD and kid hauler. Estimate 18k a year in mileage for me.

That's what I'm talking about right there, it's called the ultimate driving machine for a reason.

DD - but I need to drive more. 2016 has 27,000 miles on the odometer.

I don't need to be in work early but I find myself leaving my house before 6:00 am so I can enjoy the ride. Commuting from from NY to NJ during rush hour sucks. A nice cruise in the AM starts my day with a big grin.

An SUV as a garage queen is probably one of the worst ways to waste your money. It was meant to be a daily driver, cargo and family hauler. If you're going to put this in storage then buy a much cheaper daily and use the remainder to make something more fun and worthwhile in the garage. (IMO)

I agree with most of the comments here... this SAV is meant to be a DD. I’m coming up on 2 years next month, and I’m at 17,500 happy miles. Would be more but, like a few others on his forum, the car splits time with a few P-Cars. I might be alone here, but I actually wish I had the opportunity to put MORE miles on this car.

But, for a guy who has 4 kids and likes to have fun on the daily commute and/soccer practice runs, the F85 has definitely not disappointed! (And it’s a plus that my wife and kids love it too!)

This car was meant to be a DD... no question. Drive it and enjoy it!!!

Sure can be a great DD even it has a stiff suspension setup, however is not good on gas. I manage to get around mid 13 mpg only. thats the reason i use it only for weekend family ride. I take other two cars to work most of the time.

2017, it's my daily driver. Splits time on the weekends (driving children around) with family car. 13 K miles in 14 months. Here in New England, I have to use snows from Nov through April, and I was really surprised how well the dealer setup drove/handled. Great winter assault vehicle. Gas mileage overall is 14.8 mpg, and my commute is 10 miles each way, no highway involved. This compares well to my 2014 Audi SQ5, which averaged 15.5 mpg
My suggestion is to drive and enjoy, don't worry about saving the miles for the next owner
