Can the X5 235i M sport do a burn out?
I tried and failed.
Traction systems off. Tried power braking it to get the rear wheels to spin. nada. |

Well in that case.... It shouldn't be hard. Shifter to the left, put in sport and turn off traction. Hold brakes and Rev em up. Have you tried Launch control? Not sure if this would help since technically this feature is suppose to help you take off quickly, so that means without spinning the wheels.
On my xDrive, I was able to loosen up the rear wheels several time and it actually barked a few times as well. I also have MPPK and Racechip tune installed for more power though.

I haven't tried launch control because the manual stated that the car needs 1200 miles on it before attempting to use it the first time. I definitely do plan on trying out this feature. I may look into the tuning. Thanks! |

Paddle shifters are only standard on Msport cars. Unfortunately, that can't be coded However.. you can purchase one and install it and then code it to work.

No. Stock as I mentioned above. Yes we had issues initially with this as well. The Sport+ would show up in my extended display screen but we couldn't select it. If I get a chance I will dig up the thread and let you know what we did. Its been about a year since we went through the troubleshooting.
