X5 2016 steering wheel cover defect in plastic

Hi has anyone experienced this crease mark on the steering wheel cover. It is created when using the horn and leaves a permanent mark. This looks cheap for a X5 which is brand new costing USD 158,000 in my country.

Could be something with the airbag cover. I'd get it checked out asap.

Thanks I have informed for the warranty.
Checked one of the other new cars. It also gets creased the same way when the horn is pressed.

Mines creased in the exact circle surround the BMW emblem. Only about a 1/4 way around on the bottom right side.

This is normal, my old 3 series did that and the f15 too! For the airbag and horn to work properly.

That looks so disgusting kinda half exploded. I would talk to a local dealer if the car is still under warranty.

Totally agree with you. Did not expect such shoddy work from BMW for a car that cost me over USD 150,000

Taxes/duty amounts to USD 65,000. It is equal.to the total cost of the car in USA. This is after a reduction in duty by over USD 12,000 last November. If not for this the taxes alone was close to USD 80,000
