E53 rims in F15

Hello F15ers,

I just was a quick question; I've done some research but cannot find the exact answer since I can't find the measurements for the e53..

but i was wondering if a rim from the E53 (sports package), 255/55/18 will fit an F15 x5. I can see that in the spec sheet that it is standard size for the f15, whereas for e53 it is for sports package.

thanks in advance

There are sites where you can check wheel size fitments, namely willtheyfit and wheel-size.
As for looking into E53 for wheels on an F15, I am perplexed, to say the least.. As most of us wait for the G05's new styles for 22s!

Yes they will fit. Same 5x120 bolt pattern, same width rim 8.5jx18 and almost same offset (difference is 2mm or 0.08inch). 255/55/18 is also an option for F15 as well. I'm guessing you are using it for winter only? Otherwise I don't see why you would ruin the f15 look with old small rims.

Just make sure the centre bore is the same to avoid vibration.

E53 has 72.5mm center bore, so you'll need a hub adapter to convert it to 74.1.

Hey thanks guys for the replies
to answer why use an e53 wheels, yes, it's mainly for the winter rims.
I plan on purchasing an f15 with M sport package, but i dont think winters come with it ..
I knew the bolt size were the same, i knew that the f15 did take a 255/55/18, but i wasn't sure about the center bore, for some reason i couldn't find info on the e53 bore..

thanks guys
