There should be a placard or sticker under the hood. Also the Sport display on the idrive screen should max out at 400hp.

I disagree…$1200 for 35hp, while you can get RC Black with an app, 75hp, for much less.

It is even better if you stack them.

They stack? Sorry, new to the forum and car, is the MPPK an ecu/chip tune? Or something else?

MPPK is BMW own Flash Tune.
Or the other way to look at it, a way for BMW to rip off their customers.
De-tune the engine and sell the unlock code for $1000+.

Worth the stacking for $1200? I don't think it makes sense.
BTW, have you measured the benefit of having both?
A lot of 35ers would be interested to hear because ECU flashes provide just about the same benefit for 1/3rd -or even 1/4th- of the cost of both

A lot of early F15 owners did that.
Purchased a lot if RaceChip Ultimate from me to stack it up on top of MPPK.
Their post should be search-able.

As an owner of both, stacked, it’s worth it.

Shall do....but I also saw complains of engine chirping being experienced by reputable members. Now, it could be the specific setting they used, but, based on private emails to RC in Germany, I was told not to do it.
Obviously, I don't know what the exact risks there are, but I do know that paying $1200 for a few more "horses", is like betting for a wounded horse to win the Kentucky Derby!

MPPK is like making your X5 more athletic and giving it a boost in power, low end torque, and the transmission shifts become more crisp.

Adding RCU on top of that gives you a very fast 35i. I've reviewed this if you want to search my thread.

Not considering adding another tune at the moment.
Just debating the overall stacking effect given MPPK cost.
I take your word - and Violator's - that it works well!
