Nope, it's the solid black, but this was done with such a poor camera and almost appears as if the car was photoshopped into the backgrounds. This is dark graphite (scnick82's car): http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...1&postcount=11

In this pictures it looks there is a large variance between the black plastic and the body color, or maybe this brownish tint is the reflection of the surrounding. The graphite isn't supposed to be brownish at all.

The dark graphite is definitely not brownish. I think the color might be sparkling brown.

Here is DGM aka Sophisto Grey on a 5 series.
Yes different car, but the inside shots show the color well. Again discount the brownish color pics as that is not present in reality.

Thank you, I went to the dealer and spotted 5 series there in Dark Graphite Metallic. It's an interesting color, from distance it looks like a dark gray, just the usual dark gray we see every day, but up close you can see the tint, it has a very fade light gray tint.

I've got a Dark graphite (or in other words, sophisto grey).
From a distance it looks greyish black but when you get closer you see the metallic sparkle and the colour is just marvelous.

Here are two pictures of my F15 during day and night just to show you the variance.

I wanted the Sophisto Grey as well but it's not compatible with the M Sport. Had to get the space grey instead. Very happy with it i must say.

^^ Yes, a few others in US also wanted Sophisto Grey in MSport.
Unsure whether Special Order would make it happen, extra fee $350 applies.
