Question Sprint Booster for F15

hi guys do someone of you have buy or know something about this little device that upgrade the trottle response?

http://www.bimmian.com/SPB/15

https://www.sprintboosterusa.com/

i am planning to put the racechip ultimate to my 35i xdrive, and the sealer told me that he can put this sprint booster to, so i think that the racechip alone will have a lot of better trottle response and lower lag, so i need opinion of someone that have this device thanks

and i see the Racechip have their own sprint booster to.

You won't really have much/any throttle lag with the racechip tune at the right settings. I wouldn't bother with the sprint booster.

I've tried sprint booster on my 2010 535i and based on my own personal experience it was a bogus product. Same thing can be achieved by pressing the gas pedal little harder...

ok so we need some more info here.....

the sprintbooster only gets you to 100% throttle sooner then pedal to the floor

it wont make you faster because the faster you apply the throttle, the slower the car will react because it doesnt want to slip, or destroy the driveline. these arent manuals here....

on 35i engines depending on the tuner, like my cobb, it actually completely modifies the stock throttle mapping which is the only problem on the x5 50i, it needs better throttle mapping and only a sprint booster can really "Modify" on the N63TU engine. no tuner, including BMS tune, does anything for throttle mapping our engines.

i would assume there is excessive lag due to BMW keeping Longevity on their list...not at the top, just on the list.

a AWD car at full throttle from a dig, especially our pigs, does put alot of strain on a driveline, transfer case, axles or driveshafts, its much easier for an engine to spin two tires, than four

yes i have lol

like i said, drive the car, get a feel, and decide if your unhappy with what BMW has your spouse drive.
especially in downtown or urban markets where getting across intersections, or turning in front of cars in a timely fashion requires immediate response to driver input.
spouse will probably hate it, every little nudge on the pedal is like 100% power, can be very jumpy or aggressive if modulation of the throttle is not excessively careful

BUTTTTT remember, this is not a different throttle mapping, just tricking the computer.

the N63TU F15 50i engine does not have readily available tuners that can do this if im not mistaken.
any off the shelf tune for the 50i will still have throttle lag, and potentially worse then stock, thus why i got the sprint booster. only used it on green, red was pretty aggressive and worked wonders on the road track at PBIR. yes i tested with it on and off

i could imagine your experience then, i had a 2010 335i and throttle lag was noticeable. but the COBB had multiple throttle mapping and the aggressive one was like nothing ive ever experienced....time and time again it showed 3.8 0-60 in the built in timer.\

in my youth...that red bmw was the unluckiest best time i ever had. hit multiple curbs...one time, had it in the shop repairing from a fender bender for a month... so excited to get back in it,on the way home raining, threw it over a curb and blasted the rear right wheel, axle, all the way to the frame....
