Wheel Curb Rash Repair NYC area

Just returned from a weekend down in Atlantic City. I unfortunately came back with free curb rash courtesy of the valet at Trop or Borgata. Of course I didn't notice until this morning when I arrived at work and walked around the car.

Can anyone recommend a quality shop that can fix the curb rash on my BBS SV 22"

Thanks in advanced

what's the average turn around time when dropping off the wheels for repair?

Do you leave your car on site, or do you swap wheels before and after the process?

My 22" BBS SVs are at Intrack Tires now getting powder coated a different color. I'll let you guys know how they turn out.

They told me they were backed up and needed two weeks. It's week #2 for them now

Pics of the damage. Stopped by Fix my Tire in Queens and worker said they wouldn't be able to color match exactly and probably wouldn't look right. I appreciated his honesty. Any thoughts?

I was told by BBS to use the Mercedes SLS Imola Grey color for these wheels. I bought a can from paintscratch.com and it's a dead match in my opinion.

You will need to have a place paint the wheel if you want it to match. No powdercoat will come close.

Espo seems legit but his hours doesn't work for me. 9-5 M-F

That's when most people have work and he isn't located in the best place to get to and from the city. Intrack Tires is 9-9 M-F and open Saturday's as well.

I'll judge them after I get my wheels back. Price wise they were slightly cheaper than Espo but I didn't care about that.

Good to know. Definitely post pics and your review...

Two weeks is a long time, but I would like to get my wheels painting as well, so your results will be the Yay or nay for me.

Other than the curb rash, how did you do in AC? I haven't been there in 2 years since we started getting table games in MD. I used to go there every couple months.

Started off great, but ended up in a donation. Mainly Roulette and blackjack for me, slots for the wife. Old Homestead for Anniversary dinner Saturday night.

Thanks for the heads up. I've been away for a while, but when I get back to NY, the weather should be calm enough for me to use the bike for all the days the my car will be bare foot while I get a paint job on the wheels.

Try this shop.
Owners name is Matt. I've had my 22" forged ones repaired by him several times. Really good job, fairly priced & quick turnaround. Can't go wrong.
Good luck!
