X5 incentives

Just started looking at getting an X5. Incentives for leasing aren't any good at the moment. Is this common? Got a nice quote of invoice/base MF and the loyalty credit for this month. Not in a rush to get one so wondering if deals could likely get better over the next couple months.

We are approaching the end of the 2016 production of the F15 X5. My best guess is BMW will have some additional incentives to clear out 2016 inventory sometime in the next couple of months, but selection may be limited.

My CA told me once that December, February and May in the recent past have been months when better incentives seem to be offered by BMW. Depending upon inventory, model change overs, corporate objectives, competition and other factors, incentives may vary significantly.

Thanks for confirmation. The dealer has around 40 of them. The wife likes a few. Think I will see about holding off until the first week of May to see what's available.

What do you consider to be a good incentive? And I assume it's to take off the dealer lot opposed to a build...

I purchased mine in June for early July 2015 delivery and received 7.25% off. It was on the higher end of what people were getting as the average is around 5.5% off...

The one we are looking at has MSRP of about 74500. Invoice just over 69k. If I we could get a 1500-2k below that I think the wife would be happy.

10% will be a tough one. Dont be shy about calling around and having one shipped, either. Some regions may be a tougher sell than others.

Most likely. However the only incentive now is the loyalty credit. Not sure if that's good towards capital cost or just from purchase price. Just used it last month for my M3 but didn't pay attention.

In talking to a BMW dealer about a couple cars I was considering, I learned BMW had given additional incentives on specific vehicles to the dealer apparently to get them off BMW's books. The dealer was willing to discount these particular cars more than other similar cars because of these incentives.

If you shop around you may find specific BMWs where there is additional pricing flexibility.

Don't forget about the ultimate driving event. It's a coupon getting 1k off the purchase price of a new BMW. I used it last year...

I used this for my first lease 3 years ago. Is there a website for the schedule?
