I definitely recommend consulting RGSport for your mod needs as well. Great customer service and the quality of the parts are excellent.

My double slatted grilles, as a reference.

Samurai of 2day , Jlu88 , brandonsim , thank you guys for the good words. Greatly appreciate it.

yewlock , that's where I come in to help you guys spend your money wisely. I don't push anyone to buy products if they don't even need it or want it.
That's why I failed as an employee, hahaha. I can't tell my customer to buy that ugly ass product just because the boss need to get rid of it. Or in my case now, I don't sell a product that I don't believe in their quality and won't recommend it.

It's a tough choice indeed, but you can't go wrong with either option.

I ran with the OEM gloss black grilles for a little over a year, until the "M" version, minus the actual "M" emblem became available.

I liked the double slat kidney grilles a bit more, only because it's angled a bit more aggressively than the OEM black grilles... which are fine as well.

Mostly I switched just to change it up to keep things fresh.

Looks awesome! Do you have close up pics of the fender trim? Deciding on getting them or not.

Can you change your stock grill when you have night-vision?

Killacam,

Those look great.

I am waiting on my 18’ space gray x5 to finish building.

The first thing I want to do is swap out the kidneys as well. The finished product looks great. Do you mind linking me to the amazon seller?

Lastly, any regrets with the dual vs single slat?

Thanks again!

Also, the Autotecknic set is $150 on eBay, in case you'd like to go with a "name brand"...just search "Autotecknic BMW X5" and you'll see them.
Would you mind pm'ing me as well?

I think I literally have the exact same car (being built now) as the OP. My interior is terra dakota, can't see what his/her's is.

My car will be ready to pick up ~6/23.

I have a few other questions for the general crew here:
1. What are the odds the dealer swaps the grill out for me when I pick up the car?
2. I am looking to swap my tires out for those continental ones (forgot the SKU, but there is a thread I just read up on it.) I read someone was able to swap for free at a local spot. Does anyone know any in the North NJ area that could accommodate?
3. You all rock. I have learned so much!

Good looking, all.

Jlu -

Noticed that protruding setup on your license. Is that for shitty parkers in NYC or is that something else?

Was curious as I am in the NYC area as well. With my new car coming, trying to figure out if I should clear wrap the bumpers or just roll the dice.

I went back and checked my purchase history but it says no longer available. They are plenty on Amazon though. I like the dual look, but when I get tired of them going to try the single also.

I have the 360 view option on mine, its an 18 car and when searching on ebay, on doing the compatibility check I constantly get told that the grills available are not compatible?

Is this right, or is there some kind of error happening here?

I'm in the Uk, so any tips on where to purchase black grills would be much appreciated.

360 view has nothing to do with the grilles. I have it on my car as well, the front camera sits in between the grilles
