Max HP: 77
Max TQ: 81
Peak HP: 360
Peak TQ: 392

Those are the numbers from Dinan measured on 93 octane. I am usually on 91 or 92 so prob a bit less than the above.

More specs here: https://www.dinancars.com/product/d4...eries=&mid=X5/

I'm very happy with it so far. It's very smooth and not peaky. There are charts on the site showing the HP and TQ curves.

I plan to do some dyno runs in the spring with the tune on and off (you can turn it on/off with the Dinan app).

I got it when it was on sale and was also able to negotiate a bit more on the price and install with my dealer.

I got these from ebay, plug and play, working great, very bright, no error, no hyper flash:

Actually, just noticed that these do hyper flash when starting the car. Search continues...

I would have to show a video of starting the X5. While showing the LED not strobing. Then go in the cockpit and show no error, or bulb out on the dash.
So I will not be going that far, but it is all good, and took 5 minutes to do both sides. Best $23 I spent on my new X5 so far.
BMW really has made bulb changes SOOOOO much easier since my first 2008 335xi E90. Just did a headlight on it last weekend. It took an hour.
Good Luck X5 owners, anyone local I'll be glad to help you with the install.

Looks like my choice that I picked on Amazon last Jan. is no longer availble.
But these look to be identical.
Mine are still working and look great, and still NO error.

I confirmed that these will do hyper flash/strobing as well, they all do.

The only way to avoid issues when swapping to LED turn bulbs is to simply code them out.

I'd like to change mine out as well, but I am not sure what you guys mean by "coded out" - I know you mean fix it with coding, but every post I find about LED turns just says "coded out". I have Carly - can I do it with that or is this some special coding that needs to be done?

Or where can I read up on what that means? Sorry - been through 6-7 posts that say the same thing and this was the most recent!

Code it out - means turn off bulb check procedure on startup that BMW has by default on. That checkup procedure is implemented by sending several short electric signals to bulb (and if circuit is broken/open - it will indicate faulty bulb). That electric signal is very small to ignite halogen bulb and it just stays dark during this check up process. Unlike regular halogen ones, LED ones been much more sensitive and efficient - react to signal by flashing several times and it's visible on startup from outside. That's all there is.
So if I'm not mistaken you can turn it off in Carly under lights module (don't remember the proper name of module), it has a long list of options and you need to scroll down until you come to corner lights (of whatever they are called in Carly) and turn off startup check option.

Awesome, perfectly explained. Thank you very much!!!

Digging this one up from the grave as i've recently got an f15 with this style of cornering lights and wanted to swap all the bulbs to some nicer whiter ones - same as you.

I got some 55w LED H7's off amazon and fitting-wise, they were a simple plug-and-play swap, however the ECU complains of bulb failure.

I couldn't find the code anywhere online so had a play and I've just managed to code this out with the following changes to BDC_Body:

Code:
FL_R_KALTUEBERWACHUNG: nicht_activ
FL_R_WARMUEBERWACHUNG: nicht_activ
FL_R_KURZSCHLUSS: nicht_activ
FL_R_IS_LED: activ

FL_L_KALTUEBERWACHUNG: nicht_activ
FL_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG: nicht_activ
FL_L_KURZSCHLUSS: nicht_activ
FL_L_IS_LED: activ
Bit of a guess really... I figured that as they were in the High-Beam housing on a non-Xenon headlight, perhaps the "FL" parameters were the ones to go for, as the german for High Beam is Fernlicht (abbreviated to "FL").

The error's immediately went once i applied the code, though i have only just done it so will report back in a few days if i see any issues
