question: X5 vs X6 and 2 car seats in the back

Hello
I have had numerous X5s and currently have a 50 one as well as MDX.

I have 2 car seats in the rear, front and rear facing.

i have rear in the middle and front on the right and its comfortable for all.

QUESTION:

I am getting a phat deal on an X6 and wondering, how will the 2 car seats fit if i want them the same way? will they still be comfortable? does anyone have any pics?

or should I just get an X5 again! (my 5th in a row)

Don't do it, unless you have a spare helmet to wear when you load and unload your kids.

It should fit the same way, minus the head clearance which will depends on what forward facing car seats that you use.

Besides, with 2 kids, the X6 trunk is not as useable as the X5.

Maybe take a trip to the dealership and ask if you can install the car seats quickly to see if the clearance is acceptable or not. My concerns would be the available space for a stroller in the trunk.

width-wise I would imagine it being the same, but the headroom may be an issue.

You lose about a inch of legroom (35.6" vs 36.6") because the rear seats sit closer to the front seats due to the sloping roofline. And of course a lower roofline a few inches behind the b pillar. If it's already a tight fit getting the seats in/out for you, it will be slightly tighter with the X6.

Seats are convertible so they are permanently there

So you bring baby in and sit him in (for the middle

For the side... will be fine

By the time those cars will have a deal I'll get rid of my lease

850$ with 2k out for 79k x6 - can't complain
