Was looking around for a decent summer set and found this 599 set on ebay

1.7 k for a forged set not a bad deal at all. Please post your comments below

It's not a bad deal if they are truly forged. I don't know why those sellers never post weight of their rims? I mean that is #1 thing to know when shopping for a forged (or any other rims) imho.

The wheels do come with a lifetime structural warranty and 1 yr finish warranty if you click on the item description but says 3 yrs in the About This Item section...

If they are truly forged and of good material they are a steal.

These are 1700 a set. Wow.

Looked into the eBay seller and it appears he was selling fish tank products. I would use extreme caution if purchasing wheels from the seller. I would rather purchase from a seller that sells wheels.

IMHO I would shoot seller an email and ask weight - forged wheels weigh drastically less: oem 599 weighs 42lbs front and 43lbs rear. Forged 21 rim weigh much less, for example HRE 21 forged wheels weigh 23lbs. Not every forged wheel weigh that low, but imho if you get anything above 30lbs - it's most probably cast rims and it's not worth it for that price.

Yeah i noticed fish items too. Seller states that they can provide any style wheels for a simular price. Weight may vary between 25-35 lbs depending on a wheel

They have somekind of wheels factory there. I guess if i dont try i would never know.

Just buy OEM wheels or buy from a reputable 3rd party such as HRE or BBS.
