A catless pipe will provide significant gains, but you need a flash tune to avoid a cel.
Good to know. I’ll prob wait till after my warranty expires before going the flash tune and dp route.

I run MPPK and Racechip Black GTS with MPE, if I swap my downpipe will I get a CEL?
Also, I don’t want to deal with a smell/odor so it sounds like catted dp for me.
Please advise.

CEL is almost a given, but shouldn't be something worrisome, unless state does inspections. For example, NY State requires that all vehicles have no CELs and pass emissions after 2 year hiatus. Downpipe would most likely make it fail the emissions' test.

Sure, but who tf wants to drive around with a CEL on all the time. No one.

Indeed, I wouldn't either.
It's best if you accompany downpipe with a ECU flush, which in my case it'd mean I'd flush down the toilette $1200 for MPPK...and for you, your Dinan tuner money.

Been very busy.

I have been testing it.
It was working fine for 3-4 months until dealer did software upgrade on my G30.
I just got a new batch 1-2 weeks ago. It clears automatically, but after filled up my tank, the CEL popped up again after a day.
So, I am trying to see what's going on here.
I have a few ready to ship, but I have to make sure that they are working products.
I just reset the CEL today, so give it a few days and see if it pop up again or not.

Oh, Hi-flow catted downpipe still throw CEL.
But, the module that I've been testing should work.

Warranty wise, you can't modify your car without the risk of losing the warranty.
But again, read Magnuson-Moss Waranty Act.

I may be in for one of your fixes. I am currently working on using the other fix we previously discussed - Mini Cat with elbow. It is not working. Getting codes for both slow reactions - from lean to rich and rich to lean. I am going to try taking off the mini cat and just use the 90 degree elbow and see if that is any better.

If not, I will give your wired version a shot. PM a price when you have a minute. Thanks.

r33_RGSport it seems like n55 F15 DPs are slim pickings online. I am going from MHD stage 1 to stage 2 and it appears that a high flow or catless DP is required. Prefer catless. Also it is my understanding that flash tunes, such as the OTS MHD tunes change the parameters of the O2 sensors so that a catless or high flow don't throw CELs. Is that accurate or will a simulator be required to prevent a CEL throw.

If you are already using flash tunes, then you don't need other way to clear CEL.
Flash tunes will be able to ignore that CEL.

PM me if you are interested in the downpipe.

We've offered a F10 N55 catless downpipe for a few years now and we also have a downpipe fix that works with the same car.

We'll have a high flow catted downpipe available for this platform shortly that'll guarantee CEL free operation.
