Thinking about selling my <100 mile "take off" Black 612M Wheels/caps.
Was planning on using them as a winter setup, but now may go another direction. I need to act quick, as I already bought Yokos for them, and would need to return within the return window which is closely approaching.

Located in southeast PA

It's a "feeler" thread...I'm looking to get close to what I paid for the silver 612M wheels I purchased at delivery.

True, I'm not into the murdered out look with my BSM X5M, but you have DG, and IMO, all the other available colors look so much better with blacked out trim and wheels--DG, especially!!

Truth be told however...I am going to attempt to DIY and black out my grilles and gills. We'll see how well this goes!!!

Don't worry about derailing this Thread...it was off the tracks even before I posted!

Here's the back story - sorry for the hijack Kief...

I entertained ordering the black 612s, but I thought the 21s would be jarring and asking for trouble on NY/NJ roads. I went with 20s with the intention of powder coating them black. When I chickened out and changed the LBB to DG, the wheels reverted back to the default 21s. When I realized Friday it had 21s, I went back inside and told my salesguy. I told him don't worry, I'd live with them a bit, it wasn't a deal breaker. If I hated them we'd work something out.

I was amazed on the ride home and with every passing mile. The ride is firm but much more comfortable than the ride on my 20s with RF. And also quieter. And me like the looks. Had I known, I would have ordered the black 21s. So, Kief sees my post and asks if I want to buy his black 612 take offs, which means I would have to sell my 612s. And here we are....

Ah, I remember some of the back story. 612s are intriguing as I have 611s. Was originally going for 611s and considered running all year long with all-seasons or making my winter set for Western PA with plans to move to 21s, but got a free set of dedicated OEM 20's for winter with P Scorpions already on them (hard to say no to the deal). So I'm on 611s waiting to swap to my winter treads and make a new decision. Complicating things was my original plan to get an F15 in which case my E71 winter rims would have fit, so my garage is stacked now with 2 full sets of winter shoes. Looking to move the old ones and make a decision on future footwear. Almost new 612s are intriguing if you are thinking about moving them for black ones.

Sounds too good to be true. And we are all somewhat local. Stay tuned. Hopefully everyone can wait about 2 or 3 weeks until I change to winter wheels
