Powder Coating 469M Wheels

Hello. Has anyone powder coated their 469M wheels? Has anyone powder coated any BMW wheel in a bronze or dark bronze color? I have a white X5 50i with the 469's and thinking of powder coating black (gloss or satin) but I'm also considering a dark bronze but I don't have a lot of reference points on how that would look. Thanks!

I just got my 469M's with my summer tires back from the dealership. They had it powder coated for us as part the sale. We will have to wait for them to be installed but they look great.

After you powder coated is it just a M sticker you put back on?

Yes. You can remove them very easily with a small pick/pry tool and reapply them with a little adhesive. I immediately powdercoated mine after delivery from the factory silver to gloss black as I wasn't feeling the silver with the Alpine White/Coral.

20" wheels won't look good if Bronze. Nees to be 22". For 469 wheels go with gloss black

Yeah, you might be right. I'm after a much darker bronze but this bronze does look weak.

Thanks! I might just roll gloss black...was also considering satin if I went black but gloss seems like the more proven result.
