Slight hissing sound

I have my first service in a few weeks...but my X5 seems to have an intermittent, very light hissing sound on the drivers side. Sounds like close to underneath the driver door.

It literally comes ago...sounds like some kind of valve.

Any thoughts?

Maybe its normal and I'm just not used to it.

thx!

That's on the right side, passenger side.

No air suspension. Its just on the driver side seemingly under/around the driver door.

And when the car is idling...I can hear it when sitting in a drive thru or my garage...and it comes and goes.

:/

Rattlesnake?

If you have 4-zone climate control, is the rear zone not synced and "doing its own thing," so to speak? If it cycles on, you might be hearing some air coming out of the vents, including the one on the B-pillar right behind the front seats. Just throwing out some ideas.

HA! Its not inside the cabin. When i roll down the driver window at a drive thru, i can hear it out side the car underwhere I sit, approximately.

I think it might be a small hole in a hose like stated above.

thx!
