BPM Sport Stage 1--One Month Update
Hey everyone,
I thought that I would share my experience with all of you regarding the tune I just did on my X5. I came from a 50i, and wanted something more reliable, but I didn't want to give up the speed. While this tune absolutely doesn't make the 35 and 50, it helps immensely. I worked with Mike, the owner of BPM, and received nothing but the best of service. Included with your tune is a plethora of resources from BPM, they assure you that if you have any questions they are just a phone call away; this made me much more comfortable in going with through this process. Now to the important part, how it handles after the tune. Right away, you notice a difference in acceleration and the shift points. It shifts way faster and the turbo kicks in at a way lower RPM. I haven't run in on the dyno and most likely never will, but I'm doing a 0-60 in roughly 5 seconds after the tune. Before it was around 5.6-8. If you are thinking about tuning your car, but are skeptical or worried about the effects it has on your warranty or anything; I would strongly recommend you reach out to Mike and his team at BPM. They have made this whole process incredibly easy and I will be using them next for 6WB and a new iDrive system so I can get carplay and all the new features. Let me know if you have any questions!
