50k Miles

So Ibe has my 15 Cpo 50i for about 6 months now and I am absolutely loving it. This truck is so much fucking fun to drive it's great. Im approaching 46k miles and am just wondering what I should be looking to service. I am def contemplating keeping this truck for as long as I can. I realize there is risk involved with keeping ownership of these with higher miles but I love it that much. I mentioned on here about changing tranny fluid but was told it's too early. Anything else I should be looking for ? Thanks guys [IMG][/IMG]

The 50i is definitely a blast to drive with all that torque, if you haven’t already you will definitely need to do plugs and possibly coils. Good luck!

+1 on the plugs. Get them done before 60k or you will start having misfire problems.

Garage List
Tranny fluid change interval is 80k km so that’s around 50k mi.

I would look at the engine intake, cabin intake and cabin recirculating filters. The last one gets overlooked.

And spark plugs are recommended.

Finally the crankcase ventilation hoses, take a look at them. Are they brittle plastic ones.

Pay for a PPI, then hand over the list to your service adviser.

I had a ppi done before I bought the truck which reviled lower oil pan gasket and bad strut which were both replaced prior to purchase

Depending on your relationship with the dealer you might not even need to pay for one.
