The RR has a logical stopping point as it transitions to the body.... not so with the X5. Where would you end the black?

Two tone car was never a "thing" of the present until Range Rover reintroduced it in there SUVs. Now two tone RRS are the most desirable and sought after SUVs. I have a hunch that if BMW was to go that route and increase the price on it as a special Edition. It too will be highly sought after.

In my opinion, it doesn't look bad. Guess someone once said this about the RR at some point ,lol. The only thing that's bad is that it's not factory. Matter of fact I love it.
