iDrive screen issue

When the animation on iDrive supposed to show up, I don't have any animation, when I unlock the car screen is dark and goes straight to disclaimer, is that normal?

Looks like somebody played with the coding. Code the car using default settings.

Yes it is,
Can someone post a video how it's supposed to look like
Is that supposed to come up every time I enter the car?

You need to start the car within less than 20 seconds (incl opening the car with key).

Unlock the car, get in, start the car, everything take about 5 seconds and nothing, iDrive goes straight to disclaimer and second time straight to maps, weird

I'm kind of lost...what "animation" are you expecting to appear on the screen?

Is it a new car? Did you try coding something?

Since I have a 2013...it may be totally different for me...but most times the only thing I see from a cold start is the accept screen. If I accidentally push the "joy stick" in the wrong direction...I'll get a screen that tells me how stupid I am for not pushing the gear shift lever correctly...and sometimes when I've been messing around in iDrive then turn the engine off...but I'm still doing stuff in iDrive...I've seen the "BMW" acronym appear on the screen briefly...but I can't say that I see it appear at each start up. Again, most times I start the engine...its been the ACCEPT screen.

Hopefully others will chime in that have the NBT which would be closer to what you have.

OK. Perhaps I can bring clarity with my 2018.

I start the car. Warning/Disclaimer appears about iDrive use. What occurs next you may consider as animation (?) as on the right side of the screen a X5 appears (like it drives on to the screen) whereas on the left side I’m asked to select an active profile.

Does that make sense, or sound at all familiar to you?

This.
If something is going to show, it has to be started within 20 seconds of unlocking the vehicle.

Wow, I have never seen this in my 15, maybe it is the updated iDrive version?

That's what I was wondering about coding M Performance animation on start up, or will replace existing one or will ad start up animation to it
