'17 35D Sport package black rims
Space Gray
LED headlights
Leather (black)
HK stereo
HUD
Surround view
spare tire
rear sun shade
does not have parking assist, radar cruise and night vision
21K miles

would you buy it with $41K residual

There's currently 68 2017 35d's on the BMWUSA.com CPO page, and $41K is right in the ballpark if using that site as a reference - all of which are being sold by a BMW dealer or the lease is controlled by BMW financial services, same as your car.

Some are more expensive - probably better optioned and/or just overpriced, and some cheaper, most with high miles.

If you like your X5 I'd say keep it - you know it's history and I assume you like the spec or you wouldn't have leased it?

I think you can get it for less. Lots of the East cost dealers are discounting due to very low demand.
I would throw an offer at $33k-$35k and let them think about it.
It s you je pretty much no one. Times are tough ! Demand is king !
