335i v Mazda RX7

My buddy has a mazda with a ton of work, between 350-410 hp, i forget which number his is in a list of em, got weight reduction ext.

We ran from 40 mph 5 times, (he wont run me from a stop, and I dont wanna kill my clutch).

I won 2, he won 3.

Weight makes all the difference, I had me my camera equipment and my backpack, he had about a 120-130 pound girl with him.

Ill find out his hp for yall, all the runs were VERY close.

BTW, he does have a tri rotor and a huge ass turbo.

He should have whooped you...his car is substantially light stock, not sure what's done to your car but even if you have full exhaust and Procede V2 he should have still won. If he truly has a three rotor and he's only making that kind of power then he must be running extremely low boost. I know of only one three rotor here in town but it's 500RWHP and hasn't been tuned yet.

Yea..aren't the 7's under 3k lbs.? I think it's around 2700 right? Wait till he gets it tuned and it'll be a monster. RX-7's are one of my all time favorites.

There was an Rx7 at the last autocross event I attended. Owner installed a twin turbo set up. It was the second fastest car at the event, putting in better times than a C6 vette, Lotus, viper, etc. It was very impressive.

If it was too low, you have the obvious advantage as it's a widely known fact that rotaries have shit for TQ.

But a 500+# weight advantage to him would have put you two on par with each other, hence the apparent split.

And if he has a 3-rotor and ONLY putting out that power...something's is definitely not right. You don't spend the $ to do a 20b and only have 350-410. That's EASILY achievable with a 13b and that power can also be made reliably. Who is it? Needless to say (avatar) I'm a part of the rotary community so perhaps I know who it is. 20bs aren't THAT common.
Dude its the black one gothom racing did. Hes putting low power with low boost, dont think its tuned right now or something.
