20mph shake

Ive been having a shaking issue with my x5 and cannot get to the bottom of it,

Shaking or wobbling only happens at 20mph anything under or over this is smooth.

So far ive checked all front end suspension components, flushed and calibrated vtg twice, checked rear end, changed all four tyres and road force balanced.

Only thing that seems to have some play is the front transfer case propshaft and spline end.

Apart from this everything seems to be tight and solid.

Any ideas?

So it only happens when you’re driving…

Have you checked your wheel bearings?

I checked the front hubs and everything is tight,

I scanned for error codes last night and a oxygen sensor code 287100 keeps returning but it doesnt trigger the engine light on the dash. Its the second time in two weeks that the code has returned,

Im suspecting the oxygen sensor to be faulty and what im actually feeling is a hesitation low down on the rev range.

Ignore the top code, thats becUse i unplugged the transfer case actuator for a test to narrow down the shaking.

Im from the UK, they sell for around £80-90 not bad. I cleared the codes im going to drive for another week and if it returns again ill be ordering the part. Hope that the issue was the sensor and not anything mechanical.
