Hey Alan,

I know you are very knowledgeable from your research and experience in this matter.

I recently tried to install the 22 inch wheels I had on my E71 X6, onto my F16 X6. The front wheels mounted fine, but the rear wheels wouldn't fit over the hub on the F16. The hub on the F16 was too big for the rear wheel.

You mentioned an adapter for the heel hub in this thread. Where can one perhaps have the adapter fitted for a center ring of a tire that is slightly smaller that the hub that I want to mount it on ?

The hubs on your old X6 was smaller so your rear wheels won't be able to mount over the new X6 74.1mm hub unless you have the rear wheels bored to 74.1. Does your wheels have a hub centric ring on it? If they do then you might be able to get a larger ring but if not then they need to be bored.

Thanks, as always for the valuable advice. This helps me out a great deal.

Newest Update! Received the new wheel from Velos about a week ago, I decided to order a new tire for the new wheel just to be safe. My first buyer fell through so now I am going in line and have a few others that I am contacting directly via email in order. I will give everyone a day or so to respond then move on to the next in line. Looking to have these shipped or picked up by Friday 12/11.

Lastly I will post a couple more pics tonight as I had some small curb knicks on the lip of a couple wheels smoothed out while they've been in my garage. Didn't really notice before but I wanted them to be as close to perfect as possible. You can't notice except for they are a little more polished on those pieces than the brushed part. You only notice if you are right up on top of the wheel. I will wait until tomorrow when there is more daylight and take some very close up pics.

EVERYONE! After putting my buyers in line the 2nd buyer decided to purchase these over this past weekend. All your interest and patience was much appreciated as I know this was a lengthy process.

Chloros was a pleasure to work with you!
