Electrically deployable towbar?
Hi, this is my first post, so please be gentle with me 😁👍 I have fitted a factory style electrically folding towbar to my 2018 M50d including the factory harness and AAG ECU. When I try to operate the towbar I just have a red Led in the switch and no movement of the towbar. I have a warning on my dash and I-Drive screen stating “towbar electrical fault” I have tried another towbar and that is the same. I have 3 AAG ECU’s and all combinations of ECU and towbar gives the same result. Is this a coding issue? I was expecting it to be plug and play as all I can see is a CanBus connection from the towbar ECU to the BDC. Can anyone please advise what I am doing wrong? If it needs coding, can anyone give recommendations within the Cheshire/ North West area? Thanks.

I'm not sure how to do that on Bimmercode but 2 weeks ago I got codemycar to enable that on my car. The lights dial has to be on the second to the right position in order for it to work. So not in auto or 0

Mapping offsets in XML to settings in ESYS
Hey all,
I'm trying to work out the mask in cheat codes mapped to the actual setting you see in ESYS. For example here's the XML for open/close mirrors/windows/sunroof with keyFOB. <code description="ENABLE Open/Close windows/mirror/roof from FOB"> <group id="3053"> <function start="0" end="0" mask="01000000b">00</function> <function start="0" end="0" mask="10000000b">00</function> </group> <group id="3110"> <function start="0" end="0" mask="10000000b">01</function> <function start="7" end="7" mask="00000001b">01</function> </group> </code> What exactly is it changing to active and not active in here: |

Ok. Now where? The whole tree is expanded. And why won't it let me edit? Edit is greyed out.

Do you have comfort access?
Line 50 in the cheat sheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...9s4/edit#gid=0 BDC BODY 3056 KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_PA (needed for side mirrors) Close Window via Comfort Access You change it under Ausgelesen part. If you click on particular entry it will show you options. Also E-sys has built int cheat sheets for F15, I am pretty sure I used Almaretto one to code mine. If you are looking for BLINKZYKLEN_ANZAHL_TIPP, try instead PIA_DEFAULT_TIPPBLINKEN.

Hi. The first connection after the purchase of the BMW. I connected Rheingold and after identification there was this message. Set to cancel programming on one or more ECUS
After activating some functions, I got to the BDC-BODY block and already saw two UNKN_00000000_000_000_000 As expected, an error appears. Can you tell me how to fix this problem? |

BDC must be flashed.

---kind of vague ---
I'll take a stab at what you're asking and assume you're asking which module to look at in regards to coding since your question came right after two posts about coding the fog lights to operate with the parking lights. If the above assumption is correct...then if the coding option is possible...you would need to look in the BDC (body domain control) module.
