So is this an open air intake or does it fit in the existing OEM air box? I'd considering purchasing if you're ok with shipping.

It fits inside the OEM Air box.
All you have to do is take off the oem top cover and filter.

unscrew the o ring clip to fit the intake.
It has a l bracket to screw onto then intake and stock box to keep it in place.

Good with shipping as well.
