Parking brake actuator

Has anyone ever replaced the rear parking brake actuator and if so is it a tough job!

I did this job about a month ago. It was not very hard at all. Does take a bit of time if by yourself. I purchased a used OEM actuator on ebay for $250 and my labor, BMW wanted over $2k. I will try to find the youtube video that helped me and post it.

What's the symptoms for needing to replace it? Warning in dash? Or some codes? Parking brake not engaged? Thanks

Did you end up to program it the park brake actuator? or worked out of the box the used one? Thanks
