Had it and not worth it at all. If your X5 came with it, great. But I wouldn't go through the expense and effort of retrofitting it.

Besides, every car you will buy from now on will likely have some sort of a videogame-esque dashboard. Enjoy analog whilst you can.

I set it using Bimmer code. Sorry, don't remember the settings now. It's the shade of blue that makes it look brighter. I have the BMW M colors…Red, Blue and Teal.

Agree with this completely. My X6 came with it but I just set it to always show the normal mode (i.e. the layout of the analog dash) across all driving modes... The digital needles moving isn't as satisfying as the analog ones and the layouts in eco or Sport of the 6WB just look off...

My favorite exterior angle of the F15. The design has really grown on me more over time…

The 6WB is 'skeuomorphic' in that the digital display tries to mimic analog. I kinda like it because it mixes analog elements with digital since only the center two gauges are fully digital. I prefer the graphics and clean layout of the 6WB over the full digital one in the G05. If not for the super HUD on the G05, I would a find the UI of the G05 cockpit too busy.

The 6WB has a mat vs glossy look. Like many aspects of the F15, I like it more now than a couple of years ago…

Yep, I agree with you there on the HUD. The newer G chassis one seems much better than what came on ours... I mean most of the time I don't even look at the dash so a good/clean and informative HUD is always appreciated.

Thought it only right to post a pic of my F15 before it goes in the next Month or so.

I have loved this car in the three Years I have owned it but the running costs, together with a few high cost suspension repairs over the last Year, meant that, when my partner was offered a new car though her employer salary sacrifice scheme....and the Monthly payments were a couple of hundred less than what we pay overall for the X5 each Month ..it was a bit of a no brainer.

I really hope someone who loves it as much as we did gets it next though and, for one of the first F15's (it's a 2013 model) I still think it holds up a an extremely well equipped and modern car! A lot of the other EV options my partner was offered were missing a lot of the spec of our 9 Year old X5 and that's why we ended up choosing an iX3 M Sport Pro....it really did feel like getting in a slightly smaller, and newer, version of the F15.

Oh, man... Beautiful... I lived in the northwest for a few years and the scenery keeps on calling me back! For 32mpg, I assume yours is a 35i?

Diesel my friend! first I own, both my other cars are heavy on gas, especially as both supercharged w/ a heavy foot… so this is refreshing for me!

Hah! Yep, should have known haha. Can't beat the good ol' diesel engine on long trips! I think most of us on here are infected with the lead foot disease lol

Lol, so true. But share the joy w you, in my Audi, if I got the foot into it hard I get I am 12-15mpg. Hence this one great for longer trips… but you know I miss the power. I think the diesel tuned should be 310-315 BHP so not horrible but does not throw you into the seat!
