Can someone please post the quad tips they bought? Can't find any in the right sizing with an oval inlet.

Here you go. They've got a 2.5" round inlet. They're not a bolt-on replacement for a stock tip, therefore.

Djrabbi, did you remove the heat shielding to fit the resonators?

If I swapped out my stock 50i muffler for a F85 muffler (assume customized to fit my bumper or a bumper swap), would it sound obnoxious or drone incessantly since the F85 was designed with a valve and I wouldn't have one?

It would sound similar to an F85 with the flaps open all the time. May sound a little metallic in low RPMs.

Thanks Hufington. Any idea to how that setup (F85 with flaps always open) would sound relative to a 50i aftermarket muffler option such as AC Schnitzer or Meisterschaft?

I think that it would sound closer to AC Schnitzer than Meisterschaft GTC in performance mode.

Thanks again!

Someone is giving me their F85 muffler for free so I'm bringing it down to my local custom muffler shop to see if they will cut and weld it to fit my current F15 M Sport Bumper.

P.S. I haven't found a single person who's done this...

Great. You'll have a unique setup. I hope it works well. You haven't found anyone because the darn F85 muffler is very expensive! lol
To be honest, the result of deleting the original box and other aftermarket mufflers do not sound too far apart.

Excuse the filth, it's winter :

So my idea to fabricate the stock F85 muffler to fit the F15 bumper was a fail. The placement of the heat shields prohibit a 2nd outlet being extended out to the F15 corners. I.e. this can not be done without the F85 bumper, no matter what. Nothing ventured, nothing gained...

I now have a free F85 muffler if anyone needs one. Posted in the classifieds.

It is an unnecessarily complex undertaking with no significant advantages over the muffler delete.

Hi there, i am new to the group and wanted to get your opinion on GTHAUS GTC exhaust for a 50i F16
Also if there are alternative suppliers of an exhaust system that can fit with the vehicle current exhaust electric valve setup without the need to make new wiring extensions. (Fit directly on OEM system)

Instead of muffler delete install an electric cutout. Wife gets quite muffler . Man gets wide open exhaust with the push of a button. Local shops in SC will install one for about $400-500 parts included.

Do you have them. I'm new to this site. Having trouble answering. Who's the fool who said I'm a scam or a troll? Look at the photos I posted.
