So I thought this too, and it wasn't until I mounted up my square adapter did I find out why. I cut a quarter of an inch off or so and now it clears find. The bike rack I mounted doesn't get close to touching the bumper either with it shortened.

Got a carbon fiber trim out of wrecked x5m, all scratched up, and cracked dash piece. Started restoring it today, so some progress:

Here you go! If you can't tell from the pic, it has to be shortened to clear the diffuser during install

What's the restoration process? Resin plus hardener, then sand and polish?

Sanding and polishing for the door trims, epoxy and polishing for the dash trims, aluminum pieces will be wrapped or painted as they are all scratched, and will wrap black parts on dash pieces with alcantara

I like it. It is press on, not the whole hood. I am not that crazy to pay a truck load of pennies for a new hood.

I use the same wheels for my winter set up. I assume you had your rears bored out also, or are you running custom spacers?

How do you like those little yellow fogs? Got a link to them?

I am not a fan of the OEM driving lights or their placement. I bought some yellow Laminex to see if covering them makes me feel any different about them, but I've also contemplated getting the open side grills and finding a small yellow fog that I can mount behind the grill. I don't want it to be **BLAM! HERE I AM!!** when looking at the front, so looking for something small that I can hide decent, but still has enough output to function.

Those are Baja Design S1 spots (https://www.bajadesigns.com/Products/S1.asp) with VViViD Air Tint yellow headlight tint on them. They are very strong at 2,400 lumen each and light up the road ahead extremely well for their size. They were white originally but I wanted something to use during rain and fog and this is a very fine solution for my purposes.

First, I too have done the open grill on the driver side (right hand side is open OEM) and placed the larger Baja Squadron Pros behind the grill but the angle and the design of the grill blocks 80% of the light and it was not uniform at all and not any better than the stock LED fogs despite the fact that each light has an output of 4,900 lumen and light up to quarter of a mile. I don't think the S1 would be able to penetrate the grill.

Besides, even behind the grill, the lights were pretty visible and did not look good.
