Even KW coilover are progressive. Track purposes uses linear spring where mostly have the spring rate stamped on. For street uses, 99% are progressive spring rate or linear with helper spring to compensate road imperfection. Progressive spring rates are based on ranges, not a static number. Usually companies trying to hide those numbers since it is their trade secret to make comfortable ride on the street while reducing body roll.

Unlike linear spring rate. I used to work for Japanese coilover company, where uses linear spring rate and we always publish the spring rate publicly. Those spring rate number is like our marketing or bragging number. Guys will be, "yea, mine is 12kg front and 8kg rear setup". But, I never heard or seen progressive spring rate being published or bragged or used for marketing. Personally, I like Linear spring setup, even if it will make your tooth filling coming off for daily drive. But, in general market, progressive is the winner. That's why KW is prevailing for street market. They use a perfect spring and shock setup for street use. For track market though, they are considered as beginner setup.

F85 is also on airbags in the rear. Not springs. And the bags also sit lower as well as the front springs. I've actually brought up the idea of swapping in F85 bags when those with bags start to fail who are also interested in lowering.

I think the only option right now is to go with Bilstein B6.... if you can get your hands on them.

That would be a cool setup on the F15. Prob way to expensive unless like you said someone is discarding the F85 suspension to lower.

So originally I was thinking I was going to take a stab at the BC option but I've been talking to them and also talking to Silvers. I'm getting a better feeling from Silvers and they are much more responsive.
Does anyone have experience with Silvers Neomax coilovers? They seem to be pretty big in the WRX community and in Europe.

The perfect setup was Silvers in the front and KW in the back - perfect. But of course that isn't practical from a cost perspective. So I sold my KWs and I'm currently running my Silvers up front with my H&R sprint in the rear with Silver shock and it rides damn good. Also keep in mind, I'm super anal.

megan racing, godspeed, and all those Ebay brands are bottom shelf brands that have terrible reputation in durability, performance, and fitment.
donut media did a demonstration between top shelf brands vs bottom. I'm gonna post one of their vids they did with the 350z platform. https://www.facebook.com/donutmedia/...0048823002518/ |

In the market for an F15 and just drove one yesterday with stock suspension. Couldn't pull the trigger on the purchase even though the price was excellent. Felt mush and disconnected from the road. Far from my E70 with H&R sports that I can throw into corners.
I really want to buy this vehicle. I'm guessing KWs are my best option to stiffen the suspension without sacrificing ride comfort quality? I don't necessarily want lowering. Just a tighter feeling with comfortable dampening. |

I will go to my grave with my opinion that KWs are overrated on this platform. I've had KWs on other cars and they were amazing. On the F15, it was bumpy up front. Maybe I'm just too picky

I found the front too bouncy until I added some extra rebound damping. Slowing down the rebound eliminated the bounce for me.

When I about to install it, I found out that the front had 2 bump stop. The stock one and the KW one. If it was yours, it might have been why your ride is very bumpy on the front.

Sorry I haven't been on here for a while. I did ship them with an extra set of bump stops that I had but I did not have them installed with the stock bumpstops.... Maybe I just couldn't find the magic combo of rebound/dampening settings but I sure as hell tried.

I can only speak for the Silvers. The front still ride like a dream. I was never ever really able to dial in the rear so I just gave up and put my H&R spring in the rear with the Silvers shock and its great now. Just not as low as I'd like.
