Works on my 2018 with 6WA as I activated turn signals in my HUD a couple of weeks ago. Just follow the cheat sheet as best you can and work in Expert Mode. The names of the different "modules" to go into to make changes vary slightly from the cheat sheet, but you should be able to tell which ones to select.

Did you use bimmercode or esys?

Also, what is your ilevel/idrive version? When did you get your car?

i think i have 6wa because i have hud and backup camera and i coded turn signal couple days ago and it worked. the only thing is that the other side signal on the hud lights up softly too when signal is on

Got it to work this morning!

Seems like on the newer cars you just need to code the 2 settings in KOMBI as the Headunit coding option is not there anymore!

The 2 settings in KOMBI alone work perfectly

Does anyone have an updated link for the Vgate adapter? All of the previous links I found show up as "currently unavailable" on Amazon.

Thinking about trying to code our 2014 for the first time...

Does anyone have a list of the "simple" codes that the app provides?

Curious what all the app will do without having to dip into the "expert" mode.

Also, when Coding, do you need to do one at a time? Or a module at a time? Or can you change them all at once? Or, is there a specific way it should be done thats better than another way?

expert mode is nothing to be afraid of. for me the regular mode is like something everyone would want to code (like turning off disclaimer) so they pull it out to regular mode so you dont have to go look for it and expert mode just gives you extra option. i was afraid at first and all the errors kinda scared me but they mostly clear themselves. and the other app called bimmerlink helps clear the rest. i also use bimmerlink to open the exhaust flap

I'm having issues connecting my iPhone to the vgate BT module. Wifi one connects fine but my iPhone won't find the BT one in settings to pair it. I can pair it to my android device but not looking to purchase the same app again. Anyone have any issues with the BT module and an iPhone ? Or am I doing something wrong altogether.

So you have Bluetooth and a Wi-Fi version? Why you want both?

I actually had purchased both to see which one would have better or faster communication. I still have time to return the one I won't use but want to make sure that I did what I could prior to returning it
