I thought that was hilarious. For sure the chefs reaction was childish but I would've done the same.

I can't do that! I was busted for being mean in the internet by my kid a few days ago and though I'm pretty sure he doesn't have the skills to read that article yet, my ego couldn't take an other lecture about my attitude towards Canadians.

When we were growing up, my friend dated a vegan. We always went to my parents summer house for the weekends and the first time he brought her along I made sure we had the ingredients to cook for her too. I was going to do vegetable streaks for her so she could have burgers with the rest of us, we were having ours with pork steaks.

I don't know how much you cook, but on a cottage with limited electricity, everything from chopping to pealing to mixing to pressing to form is a hassle. Well, I even figured out how to make them stay in shape while grilling without eggs.

I was halfway done when I saw her eating a burger with mayo and bacon. Apparently a vegan can eat some meat and sometimes a cheat day is needed.

I'm all for using more vegetables and near grown ingredients but after that weekend I banned all female vegans from my table. I'm bad like that.

i suggest rolling up a 30’ smoker outside, and toss on a couple of whole hogs, (with all the necessary permits, of course) and maybe give away free pulled pork sandwiches

I think Im going to go to a vegan restaurant and write "please add real steak to the menu" in sidewalk chalk... I just feel its very unfair that a business owner won't cater to my every wish

That's why I have to read all my news.

A long time ago I was watching our public broadcast company (Yle) news they do in English too daily. The anchor woman was from am Indian decent and then I realized I can never, ever watch news in public again.

There was some story of an attack against immigrants somewhere in Europe and I just kept nodding and smiling. English spoken in an Indian accent is a drug to me. It sounds so soft and cuddly and beautiful I I can't understand a word because I'm busy smiling and nodding.

Don't tell anyone my dirty secret. I do that in real life too. My neighbor is from Pakistan and she keeps coming over to teach me English because I always do the damn trance thing with her too.
