turn a hobby into money.

I started collecting watches as a hobby, which led to me fixing and repairing watches for myself, and has since turned into making a few hundred to a few thousand a week depending on how busy i want to get. Fairly significant upfront costs for tools and supplies, but that can be paid for within a couple months if you do enough work.

The money spent on gas and maintenance ubering would be best invested in the stock market where you get passive income doing nothing and costing nothing (unless there is a downturn in the economy).

I don’t think many who have posted here understand the meaning of passive income.

Why not add to your rental property portfolio? With the right deal(s) you should be able to pick up a property and hire a management company to handle the day to day and net out cash flow positive while requiring very little bandwidth from your end.

Seriously, at that price, you would be better served buying them, and then reselling, easily doubling your investment, if not more.
Relationship with a distributor i have that we used to setup a couple huge mining farms so he hooks it up quite a bit.

Thought it was interesting comparing the square to round pushers. I liked the whole article.

I use to rent out an garden apartment. We've since needed that space back.

It's hard to get passive income and a decent return for the investment amount that needs to get tied up for an extended period of time. IMO, I think the easiest way is to own dividend paying stock (or bonds) in high quality companies. In the long run, the US economy has always paid out handsomely.

lol. right. Passive generally means, minimum ongoing efforts once initial investment is made, and that your investment is a cash cow.

With Uber, if you're not "active" you're not making money. Generally, if you're making money from a source while you're simply breathing and sleeping, that source counts as passive income. (Rentals, equity distributions, pyramid schemes, youtube videos, racketeering)

Wheel and deal if you got the space to store a vehicle. Me and a buddy do it and very rarely do we do anything to the vehicles we get. Simple easy cash and you get to play with some fun stuff. We had a street legal dune buggy we rocked for a bit and a supercharged Camaro we named skittles since only one door matched the color of the car.

Also don't forget loan sharking. Anyways, passive income isn't easy. At times even racketeering and loan sharking requires you to bust up some knee caps

Consider being a pimp. It’ll take some work up front but after that, smooth sailing. You’ll need to round up a few individuals to work the “streets”. At which point you’ll need to identify your most solid performer and promote them to “bottom bitch”. This person will help keep the rest of your “hoes” productive by helping you manage their activities.

Once business and your corporate structure is established, you just take a cut of the earnings.

You’re welcome.

About $400 over what it was before I started doing this. I gross $1500-3000/month, depending on price fluctuations (although I am holding all my cryptocoin for later), so I net $400 less than that.

As Flying Ace suggested, equity investments that pay distributions is one option, which can be as simple as an Index ETF. It could also come through investment (without control) in a small, established business or real estate funding that pays out distributions if you know someone through whom you can make such an investment. There are many opportunities like this out there if you know where to look and meet the investment criteria. Another is high quality corporate debt offerings issued through private placements, again if you meet investor criteria and are tolerant of credit and interest rate risk. Overall I'd probably start by researching and reading rather than relying on an Internet forum, although a forum can spark some ideas. The investment vehicle will depend largely on things like availability to you and your risk tolerance.
