If your main complaint is ride quality and thats why you are thinking about getting back into a sedan, here is an idea: Get your suspension back to stock, put some go flats on on your Winter wheels in the Spring and drive the car another year. If you like the ride, sell your big-ass summer wheels and use that money to buy nice looking 19" wheels (or 20's if you must) with proper go flat tires, a donut spare and/or a tire repair kit. You might like the ride so much you'll want to keep your beautiful X5 forever!

It would be truly sad for you to let go a vehicle you put so much money and emotional capital into and let it go for so little. It still looks as nice or nicer than any X5 out there, including the new G05. No harm in driving a "vintage" BMW that is well maintained and well optioned.

Whatever you decide, good luck!
Thanks! This is actually the first time I have driven the car with the 19's. Man it doesn't turn as aggressive but the ride is MUCH better. I'm thinking I may stick it out a few more years at this point...

I wouldn't think the ride on the 21s would be that bad.

So sale went through at 30.5K, tis a sad day. I'll certainly keep my eye on this forum as it's the best one I've ever known. Plus the Bimmerpost website doesn't attack you with ads like the others I have seen. MSRP build for my new car is attached here, looking forward to trying out an S-Class!

Unfortunately that sound about right with the mileage and accident.

The 50i depreciation is horrendous. Very sad to see such a beautiful machine go for that low.

Damn I paid a lot more for mine although mine is CPO and only 30k miles. I just got to thinking for the $30k range I would have been happy buying this one for the wife. Oh well, more mod money for me

Heavy depreciation is one of the biggest reasons I am keeping mine for the long run

Yeah I bought it @ 38k and put around 20k miles on it so at the end of the day I wasn't super upset with the sale price. I also kept the 375's for a private sale to pad my loss.

Same here. Glad the n63TU has been pretty solid so there aren't any major flaws we'll have to deal with down the road that we know of yet.

Actually, that's not bad at all. 7.5K loss after putting 20K and a collision is great!

Btw, the specs on the S looks nice. That Burmester is pretty decent and think its better than the B&O. (I've only heard it once in a c-class)

Yeah I heard the S-Class version of this system is bananas. I know people on here complained about the F15 B&O but I loved it, hoping this will also be a positive experience!

The new beast (don't mind the Pacifico's)! Really enjoying the Burmester 3D surround and interior in general. What I am enjoying the most is the Airmatic suspension, most comfortable ride I've ever felt. X5 has already been delivered to the new owner who has communicated he is quite happy with his new toy!

Lucky bastid lol. I almost pulled the trigger on a new s450 a couple weeks ago but the payment would not make sense due to all the negative equity. Still hoping they'll call and give in and make a better deal though.
