Tire setup

New X5 owner. Found a set of winter tires and rims locally. Just wanted to make sure the 275/40/20 can be installed all around. (Non staggered)

Factory setup is 285/40 R20, so you will get slightly smaller diameter.

Should be ok for winter. Only 10mm less

I'm in the middle of pulling the trigger on a 15 X5 with almost all the options I wanted except the wheels. Has the 18's on it with 255/55/18's on it. Plan to swap those out for 275/45/20 squared to help the look but keep some ride quality. I don't want the huge tires on the back with no ability to rotate front to back. I've owned 2 cars with staggered tires (still have one) and one of them had directions wheel on it (could not rotate at all) and tire life SUCKED. Amazing how much rotating tires regularly makes them wear so much better. Worth the speedo being off a couple of MPH.
