What about 20"X8.5 rims with 5X120 bolt pattern wrapped in 245/50R20 size tires. (they were at a decent price), They seem a lot narrower than x5 stock rims, but will they actually work on an x5m? I just thought of something else, like the offset (or whatever the distance from the outside of the rim to where the bolts are is important too, I guess, lol. It has to clear the brakes so I guess you can't just slap any wheel on that is the same size, that has to match. something like a 25mm offset or something, not 100% sure on that.

But I would still go 19”. You might slide and hit curbe and more sidewall might be difference between just ruined tire or ruined suspension. |

Managed to get snow tires. 21" pirelli scorpion runflats. They are About 5k after tax, lol!! Managed to get a near new set for $600 tho. Drives perfectly. With the OEM summer tires I could barely stop, But these are great. May get 20" rims for snow next year. Plus the tire shop refuses to put them on unless they are staggered Exactly the same as oem size. I thought snow tires should be Same size front and rear? . |

Can anyone confirm BMW OEM 19" 467M square with 255/50R19 will fit and work properly with an F85 X5M?
No rubbing, clear the big brakes, and no transfer case issues? |

I don’t think 467m 19” wheels will clear the brakes. I can’t be sure though. FWIW, the OEM spare for F85 is 19”, but different offset. If it fits, you should have zero TC issues. |
