NEED HELP!!! [Headlight washer]
2014 X5 50i.
Is there a separate reservoir for the windscreen washer and the headlights? I live in Canada, so Ive read that some areas the washers for the headlights should pop up after the 7th or so wash of the windscreen. Mine do not. I just wonder if there are 2 places I should fill with windshield washer fluid. Also what is the easiest way to test the washers since I cant be in 2 places at once |

Same reservoir / the headlights need to be either on or auto / headlights washer is triggered only when the headlights are on and at after a certain number of windscreen wash cycles.

Thanks all so very very much.
I am bMW noob, but I have fallen in love with the brand. Love the concentration on driving experience. I just grin the entire time I am behind the wheel. So to demonstrate my noob-ness, I can say this: Unless the washer tank is fairly full, the headlight washers will not work Filled it to the brim and BOOM washers worked. Dont like that it gets all over the hood though. |
