Dear Opasha

Thank you very much for all information and support !
I learned a lot from your threads and probably milions of users.
I'm new with coding but very excited about possibilites of coding.
Could you let me know a little bit more about VO and coding ?
I don't know if I undersdood everything about 2TB sport+ coding to my US F15.
3. Sport +, SAT, and Launch Control:

a) Add to 2TB to FA - I added as on youtube and when read slapa everytime show now 2TB - This is clear for me.
b) VO Code BDC_Body, Kombi, and ICM - Please let me know I have to just code whole folder of BDC_Body without custom changes ?
c) Transmitter app - Clear All DTCs (error codes) because ICM coding will always give false chassis stability error and these errors put your MODE into COMFORT only and does not allow you to switch between them until cleared. - Clear for me.

I approcheated all your help and sorry bothering you but I just stock in VO Code and can not figure out.

Have you downloaded the FREE version of Bimmercode yet? If not, I highly recommend doing so...you can't actually code anything...but the DEMO mode allows you to see some of the things you can code.

If you do decide to buy the OBD dongle and download the app...then when the app actually communicates with your car's modules...you'll probably see a lot more things that it can do based on how your BMW is optioned and the communication bus is configured.

I say that because depending on build date...different control modules may perform duties...for instance the FRM (footwell module), FEM (front electronics module), and BDC (body domain controller) all control a lot of the lighting elements...but again, depending on build date...when the app reads your modules...its then when you'll see which of these modules controls your exterior lighting features.

Down load the app...and play around in the DEMO mode to see some of the things that are available.

EDIT: below are some screen shots from the DEMO mode...you can see (at the top) that it is found in the FEM module (your actual application may be different depending on build date and communication bus set-up)...and when you scroll down the page, you can see that you can code the FOG LIGHTS to be part of the WELCOME LIGHTS...and you can also change the duration of their illumination.

hey, thanks for the answer, I have the full version of BimmerCode, I also have esys but nowhere is that option. In the case of the wife's F20 there is a "ready" option to select in BimmerCode / Esys for coding FEM, in the case of F15 unfortunately there is no in BDC or any of the modules, there is no coding "welcome lights" at all, does anyone know if this can be done ? Maybe Amaretto?

I've used the veepeak OBD link with bimmercode and have coded all kinds of goodies that have all taken but when I've coded mirror folding active with comfort access it works for a couple of days then just stops working. It will unlock no problem but for some reason it will stop locking/folding the mirrors. Any insight?

hi, i know that this is wrong thread but here people are more experience with Esys coding. The question is if it's possible to code out the fog light on 2011 f10 with ESYS? (asking for a friend as he installed the m bumper and it has no fog light)

Opasha probably is not going to answer this since

You can't just "code" amber lights on US-spec hardware, you need new tail lights as well as wiring change, it is different.

I am new into this and i already faced first problems after my coding.

I own f15 imported from North America to Europe, so as many other people i wanted to change and the radio frequency, so i followed other threads and examples as it should of be an easy thing

I changed RADIO_COUNTRY = ece and FM_DEEMPHASIS=50us

The problem i am facing at the moment is that the radio doesn't want to automatically scan for stations as before, and i can search them only manually.

And second issue is that now the saved stations looks messy in the list probability due to longer mhz which are displayed.

Did anyone faced this problems and how i can resolve them?

Anyone know witch values in HU_NBT turning on/off the content of split screen menu? before, I had this menu, now I can only turn on/off split screen, but I can't choose what to display on the small screen

I also faced the same issue and figured out that it was due to wrong selection of car in connections.
When connecting esay to the car, besides selecting the vin option, in the top window you shall select the appropriate F2X...

In my case that was old ESYS 3.27.1 and newer PSdZData caused the issue. Shawn advised to install latest ESYS and use it for VO Coding and cafd injection (no launcher needed). Esys 3.27.1 is the best for fdl coding. So with latest esys I was able to inject the cafd.
