x5 50i N63TU 2017. Any flash without bench unlock ?
So. Tried to flash my DME by BootMod3 and got Warning massage. See Attachments. Bootmod3 support said I need bench unlock for my software. Maybe there are some other solutions? Car is still on warranty, and I don't want send DME for flashing. In Las Vegas both dealers of BootMod can't do bench unlock. Thank you guys.

Local shop quoted $250 to bench flash the dme (n55 engine). Not sure how extensive it is to take out the dme on the n63 but if you want to avoid dme removal, Racechip// jb4 is your only option at the moment.
But confused about warranty. Flashing bootmod3 would void your warranty if they can link any breakage due to the tune. So if you still want bm3, removing dme shouldn’t be of any concern |
