Here is another photo, that I took today. These calipers have been on the vehicle for about a month now, in several heavy rain storms. Not to bad....

Actually the linked product looks little different than what you installed on your vehicle. I was reffering the one shown in the picture in that website. Your design is the one i would go with anyway. I am not fan of the other shape since the sloope of the caliper goes opposite direction than disc does. And does not match with the front design. But yours is just perfect. I wonder if i can request this option when the times comes to buy it.

When I talked to Tronik, they told me that these calipers are from a Panamera, but could also be from a 911, as these calipers have been used across multiple Porsche platforms.
They are cleaned, refreshed with new o-rings seals, machined and painted. And that is why I bought them, besides the price wasn’t bad either.

It's the same. The curve on the face does go opposite of the curve of the rotor or wheel.

You are absolutely right, they are different. Why haven't I noticed that before. But, I have the set on the left.
It could be that the one is the older style and the other is the latest version from Brembo.
Honestly both are pretty nice mounted on the vehicle, and compliment the front caliper. So either way, your still ahead of the game.

They did change from touareg to panamera calipers, but overall, the part you're talking about curving following the wheel or going the opposite way is the same. Look at where the rotor hat is in each picture. Left picture, the rotor hat if on the left. That curve in the face curves away from the hat. On the picture on the right, the hat is on the right and the face curves away again. I know because I was initially bummed that the curve didn't follow the conventional path, but I still ordered the kit too and the caliper is right in front of me now.

I understand what u re saying but the right is obvious with where the badge goes and my preferences would def be the left. They both do a great upgrade at the end. Functionality is of course same but the whole reason i am gonna do the upgrade is visual nothing else

But the one thing that your forgetting, is what is shown on the website may differ from what your actually get. So, it could go either way.

Oh hell no....they have 440mm carbon ceramics rotors on an X5M now. And a matching 10 piston front caliper. This just got too expensive from my taste, I will not be upgrading. Although they do look good. Dammmmmmmmm

Those brakes are amazing, but extreme overkill. But one can only dream right.
