BMW (2014-15) X5 & X6 - LED Adaptive Headlights w/ Modules

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
Original BMW X5/X6 LED Adaptive headlights, complete with modules.

Bought these for my friends 2016 X5 but turned out that 2016+ models use different modules, so these lights will ONLY FIT 2014-2015 models.

These are original BMW with all OEM modules, compatible with the following models:

2014-2015 - F15 X5 35i / 50i
2015 - F85 X5 M / X5M
2015 - F16 X6 35i / 50i
2015 - F86 X6 M / X6M

They're in perfect condition, the small brackets on the side of the headlights are cracked and can be replaced or used as is.

Looking to get $1200 for the pair or $600 each.

Can ship at owners expense.

More photos can be seen here:

They will work in newer models as well, I have these in my 2017, you just need to run some wires. Excellent deal for someone looking to retrofit!!

What else (besides coding) will be needed to get these running in a 2015 X5? I don't have ACC Stop&Go, and I don't have nightvision. I do have driver assistance plus. Some sort of harness? Camera? Radar?

You need to run one wire for each light for power from the fuse panel under the glovebox. You also need to pull a few wires from the actual connector (which plugs into the light) and rearrange a few of them so they’re in the appropriate slots for the LEDs.

Thanks for the clarification ! Would have loved to know that some months ago.

I believe you'll just need to run an additional wire to the headlight plugs, but I'm not 100% certain. You can message monkiboy as he did the retrofit, the way he did it was a bit more complicated than it would be in your scenario because he installed these lights on a 2016+ model, so it'll be much easier for you.

Perhaps message him for details. You can see his post here about the retrofit
https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?p=22336774

No additional options are necessary for LED Adaptive headlights, but once you go through with the retrofit, you'll have the option to easily retrofit High Beam Assist by swapping your steering column stalks.

Hope this helps.

By the way, the cracked bracket can be replaced with a new one from the following part numbers:

63117395523 & 63117395524

They only sell in sets of 3 (all 3 brackets per headlight).

However, like I mentioned... it's not necessary.

I actually bought his lights from him, retrofitted them in my 2017.
You can do HBA if you have the right KAFAS camera, with or without these lights.
