My recovery wasn't bad and my surgeon said I had the worst bone fragments he'd ever seen. My surgery was supposed to last about 1 hour and went 3. The recovery wasn't bad for me as I'd it broken 3 or 4 times, previously.

The black eyes were the worst, however. Raccoon eyes for a week. UGH.

The worst part for me was having to sleep and breathe with my mouth open. Ugh, so uncomfortable!! The pain was pretty bad for first few days. AND I found out that I’m allergic to Percocet. So that was fun. In pain, body covered in hives from the allergic reaction and not able to get a different RX because I had already filled the prescription for the Percocet.

The black eyes were pretty bad. I had mine done on a Thursday and went back to work the following Monday. I had a client show up unexpectedly and I had to explain I didn’t get beat up, it was self inflicted.

Yeah, I think I will one day... it's more a question of time/money/covid right now. I'm not concerned about the recovery really, though I doubt I'll enjoy that part!

Woohoo, I may even break into the upper 40th percentile!

If you're planning on going to the Highlands on your trip, go in April. Best chance of ok weather, and not many midges out at that time of year. Enjoy.

Indeed he is. I think he fathered a child in the last 2 or 3 years and he is my dad's age!!

You honestly have a lot of potential, but I don't think you see it yet. I think you have given up on yourself to a degree, but aren't satisfied either because you long for something more. That's a bad place to be in because you have neither accepted yourself, nor are you seriously changing what you don't like about yourself either.

And maybe I've read you wrong, I don't know you, I'm just going on what I see online from your posts.
