Look what we have here!! RK Autowerks F85/F86 X5M X6M Carbon Intakes

Hey Guys

We have had a lot of demand to develop intakes for the F85/F86. We're pleased to announce we're Just about Done with out intakes.
As with all our intakes, we use OEM level equipment and design to ensure we get everything we can out of our product. For those not familiar with us, our design process goes like this.

1) 3d scan stock vehicle
2) Reverse engineer vehicle to ensure no MAF/design issues, guaranteed fitment, ease of installation
3) 3d printed to ensure there was nothing overlooked in the design phase
4) Dyno tested and flow bench tested
5) Final version is produced out of pre-preg carbon fiber. This is not to be confused with the average product you find nowadays, we use aerospace grade carbon and everything is produce in an autoclave. This ensures you receive exactly the same product as our CAD design, MAF housing is part of the carbon, no metal maf port, and this keeps heat transfer down because the entire unit is carbon.

Heres a Couple Teaser pics of our X5M/X6M intakes Let us know your thoughts on them!.

There will be a group Buy Setup For the First 5+ Interested
If we get enough interest and then will post up in the Vendor Classifieds.

Lets get a list together of people Interested.

I wish you well and will be a customer if there is a reasonable performance increase. Only reason I'm skeptical is I pressure drop tested the factory system at 21psi and found zero drop. Good luck. We need more performance products for the X5M !

I have this intake on my car already. Posted my review on another post.

No factual data to support my comments but the more miles I put on this intake the stronger my car feels. Car pulls much stronger than my Dinan intake. Feeling the most power in lower gears and speeds. Odd as the air velocity should increase the performance. Take in mind I only have time with the kids in Car and haven’t been able to open it up on the freeway

Intake induction sound is to die for. One of the reasons for the purchase and lacking from Dinan. Really compliments my Exhaust and hf down pipes

Not a cheap upgrade but piece is of very high quality and loving every min in the car. Thanks RK for brining us some additional goodies

Always enjoyed my RK front mount intake since I put it on but especially love it even more recently.

Had to take some parts off the car for some other work needed. Car was pretty much stock with all parts I took off. Drove the car as is for a couple of days and reinstalled the intake. People will argue that intakes don’t much power but after driving stock and putting the intakes back I really feel a huge difference in power. No dyno to back this but compared to my Dinan intake I had before there is really a night in difference in acceleration, throttle response and instant power when needed

Intake is not cheap but I don’t question the purchase at all. MSR had always claimed big numbers and forums believed it was not reasonable for an intake to make that much power. I actually feel that I probably gained 20-30 hp to Wheels.

Believe what you want but the RK intake makes good power
