M Splash Screen

Hey guys, so the M Splash screen pops up, seems like whenever it wants...

Anyone know how to set it so it comes up every time...

Thx

I'm pretty sure the M splash screen shows up if you turn your car off after driving, and then within a minute or so turn it back on. Something like that.

This is not normal. Take it in to the dealer. They probably just need to reset the iDrive. No biggie.

If you want to view it every time you enter the car do not unlock it from far away. The moment you unlock the vehicle the system start up and by the time you enter the vehicle it’s over. I’d even recommend using the comfort access to unlock if you’re really trying to view the animation.

I believe that you must start the vehicle within 20 seconds of unlocking it to initiate the splash screen.

There are options to have it appear each time and to increase the time it is shown.

I have a 2016 and had it coded by Rich when I got the X5M. I think anyone who can code the car can do this for you.
