What's it worth?
Have a 2018 x5m black sapphire edition, got it for my wife back In January. She's racked up about 7000 miles on it already but it's just too small for her with two infants, car seats, and all their stuff...she came from an Escalade and will probably end up in another or a lwb Range Rover. We're also considering another G63, but that's prob the equivalent in terms of rear seat room as the X5. So big question is how much of a hit am I going to take on the X5?

I'm afraid it will be substantial. With the G05 coming out later this year and the M in 2020 it's not looking good. But again, buying cars like this is not an investment, so as long as she enjoyed it it's all good. OTOH 7000 miles is very low and may be an attractive buy for someone looking for one now that they may not even be making them any longer.

With any car, selling within the first three years will be a bloodbath, but much more so within the first year and low mileage. You're probably looking at losing at least 20% of the value right off the bat. Good luck but I'd recommend just keeping the car.

If anyone knows of anyone 2016 X5M's in that $66k range, let me know as I am in the market. Ideally the Aragon brown interior, but if that's the market price or one is in that price range WITH that 20k mileage, I'm a ready and willing buyer!
I can't find anything under 70k and have been looking at '15's since my budget is in that price range. |
