Does anyone on here have the part number for the OEM kidney grills which accommodate the NVA option?

Nvmd, forgot that I was on X5M/X6M sub forum.

Your option would be get the M Performance and swap the outter ring.
Or, get the AutoTecknic and swap the outer ring only. I have done it and the AutoTecknic dual slat do fit perfectly to the OEM inner slats.

Actually they are wrong. Those are for oem chrome grills not the black ones.

Yep, I was only able to find the ones with the chrome surround...

There is OEM, you just need to swap the inner slats.
OEM M Performance only available without NV.
What you need is just the outter rings anyway.

There aren't any OEM M available where swapping is not necessary? I would rather not have broken tabs or clips by prying plastic apart and do not want the single slat M-Performance.

Nothing on a straight swap from OEM.

Damn, BMW dropped the ball on this. If I understand correctly my only options are purchasing a set of gloss black grills and swapping the surround or painting my own or buying from IND. Correct?

Is there an OEM gloss black version of the grill below? I like it the best since the NVA sensor is recessed and not noticeable like on the F85. I would like to install that onto an X5M in the hopes of having a cleaner front.

If you can not find it oem, one thing to consider is having a high quality paint shop color match it to the vehicle instead of gloss black. I just did that to my Sapphire Black F90 and was shocked at how good it was vs gloss black. Finished all of the chrome plastic that way. Just another option for ya.

That is a last resort but I prefer OEM.
Also after seeing that grill I feel it looks better than the OEM X5M NVA grill.
The sensor/lens is recessed and not as noticeable. The grill design flows much better.

You will need to buy the whole M Performance set and just swap the outter ring.
I never done it on F85/F86, but that's how it is with the F15/F16.
