I don't know how I missed this mod. Super pumped to knock this out. Thanks for the tip!

My question is will black exhaust tips look good with the black valence bumper surrounds or will it all mesh together and look blah?

Scroll to 1:52 below, I personally think it's too much and makes the exhaust tips "disappear" but to each his own. However, there are other colors. I actually thought this blue might look cool (pending that paint would work)...

Used the VHT pai t suggested here and gloss clear coat (safe to 250*). I prepped last night for a while. Cleaned and sanded. Taped this morning and tah dah! Very happy with this, looks better in person. ACS exhaust.

It's the AC Schnitzer "figure 8" catback system. RG Sport has them for around 2K. Very nice tone.

Have you side by side compare with MPE? Do you feel our ACS is louder at cold start?

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it. While I would love to have a bit louder exhaust, I don't think my wife would approve. But it does look great. Maybe if I save up all of my nickels(Canada doesn't use pennies anymore) I could get one lol

It's worth it, this is pretty well known on this forum as being the "conservative" option. Louder than factory but nothing crazy...

Like with a lot of the great mods I've seen on here, it's mostly want over need.

4 coats of VHT black engine enamel and 2 coats of VHT clear coat. No sanding or primer. Will see how it holds up.

I sanded mine, used primer, and did like ten coats. Seems to held up so far after curing.

Yes here is a photo of both the black and the clear. I got both from Amazon. If you search there, the black is "VHT ESP124007 Engine Enamel Gloss" and the clear coat is "VHT SP145 Engine Enamel Gloss".

Got mine powered coated by Dave
